About Artist Smock Making Workshop with The Stitch Society
The Stitch Society are known for their simple, well-made clothing, which is entirely made in Yorkshire from UK sourced fabrics. In this creative workshop you will have expert tuition from Charlotte and Gillian of The Stitch Society and the day will start with you choosing your fabric, cutting out your smock, choosing binding, and making up your garment using domestic sewing machines and overlockers. The day includes a personalised smock pattern, drafted to your measurements by The Stitch Society.
Suitable for people with some experience of sewing machines and overlockers, but help will be on hand when required. Sewing Machines and overlockers will be provided.
