About Life Drawing: Laura Ellen Bacon
Join us for a life drawing workshop inspired by the flowing lines of Laura Ellen Bacon’s willow installation, Into Being, currently on display in the Chapel. This unique session invites you to sketch a live model alongside the sculptures while the gallery is closed to the public. We will then walk up to the Visitor Centre to enjoy a hot drink together in the Kitchen Café.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or a curious beginner, this workshop offers an intimate exploration of form and mark making. This will be a seated class using drawing boards. All drawing materials for this workshop will be provided. If you would like to bring your own easel, please let us know so that we can set up the space accordingly.
The workshop will be led by Tessa Houghton, a professional artist and life drawing tutor, who will share techniques and insights to help you bring your drawings to life.
