About YSP Patrons and Friends: Solstice Sunrise in the Skyspace
Celebrate the winter solstice with an unforgettable dawn experience in James Turrell's Deer Shelter Skyspace, one of Yorkshire Sculpture Park's most remarkable permanent artworks.
As the sun rises on the shortest day, witness the changing winter sky from inside James Turrell's Deer Shelter Skyspace. Framed by the Skyspace's carefully engineered aperture, the changing winter sky offers a moment of quiet reflection in this unique space for contemplation.
Following sunrise, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Kitchen Café overlooking the Country Park as the landscape awakens around you.
Capacity is strictly limited, and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Please note: This event is available exclusively to YSP Friends and Patrons. Maximum 2 tickets per individual membership.
