Summer at YSP

Visit Yorkshire Sculpture Park this summer to swap screen time for quality time as you enjoy creative and nourishing days out with friends and family. We are open 7 days a week for the duration of the school holidays, from Monday 28 July to Sunday 6th September.

There's lots to see and do whether it's hot and sunny, or cool and wet. Discover Hold to This Earth, an exciting new indoor exhibition of work by 67 contemporary Indigenous North American artists now open in the Underground Gallery. You'll find additional exhibitions and installations across the Park by LR Vandy, Nicola Turner, and Louise Lockhart. Over the course of the summer, we'll be introducing new work by Jakob Rowlinson, Andi Walker, Annie Montgomerie and Jim Ever.

We have a range of indoor and outdoor activities to keep kids of all ages entertained all summer long. Perfect for little ones to burn off energy, visit Little Wild Wood, our natural creative play space. For indoor activities, visit The Studio in the Underground Gallery, a fantastic creative space for everyone to draw, play and learn inspired by the Hold to This Earth exhibition.

Catch up with friends over a delicious, locally-sourced lunch in our cafés, with ice creams to help you cool down on warm days and a lunch grab-bag for kids. The Weston summer menu features fresh seasonal flavours, antipasti sharing boards, and refreshing cocktails — perfect for leisurely lunches in beautiful surroundings.

Kids always go FREE and parking is FREE too.
