The Studio

Visit The Studio in the Underground Gallery to enjoy drawing, making and chatting together, using playful gallery resources inspired by the themes and artworks in Hold to This Earth.

Take time out to rest and relax on the comfy chairs, and read one of our specially selected books focusing on the themes of the exhibition, or pick up a pencil and create your own artwork inspired by the exhibition.

The Studio is open Tuesday–Sunday, 11.00–16.00, and daily during the Wakefield school holidays. Find it at the far end of the Underground Gallery, or ask one of our friendly staff for more details. The Studio will be closed for exhibition changeover until 13 June 2026.
