About Rob Ryan: Listen to the World
This exhibition featured previously unseen paper-cuts and screen prints created for and derived from Ryan’s 2016 Rizzoli wall calendar commission; along with a limited edition, multi-coloured laser cut, exclusive to YSP.

Listen to the World also featured significant works from Ryan’s repertoire, such as The Map Of My Entire Life, 2012, his largest paper cut to date, created for Manchester Art Gallery’s touring exhibition, The First Cut. One of Ryan’s most popular works to date, Can We? Shall We?, 2010, also featured. This large screen-printed version was first shown on London’s Dover Street in Ryan’s solo show, The Stars Shine All Day Too.

Serge Spitzer: Untitled
The sculpture creates, encloses and protects its own interior, which can be glimpsed through the spaces held open by rubber pads. Spitzer chose to reflect upon the character and history of the location for his sculpture and to encourage active looking and questioning. It is not immediately clear if the beam emerges from, or supports, the quarry face. When seen from different angles, the sculpture creates different senses of stability and balance, of open and closed spaces. - News

Ursula von Rydingsvard: Damski Czepek
Damski Czepek translates as ‘lady’s bonnet’, and has a central hood-like form, with snaking ribbons extending out into the landscape. The shape welcomes you in and envelopes you, and echoes some of the eighteenth-century follies across the estate, such as the Shell Grotto.
