About Willow Wreath Making Workshop with Jo Gregory
On this half day course with renowned willow weaver Joe Gregory, you will learn to weave your own willow wreath using different willows to create a sturdy and unique wreath which you can decorate with leaves and foliage depending on your seasonal preference.
Joe Gregory has been weaving willow for many years and will be able to give you advice and tips on how to create beautiful pieces and the many different materials available locally to work with.
Suitable for beginners and those more experienced creatives who wish to expand their knowledge. All materials are supplied plus tea and coffee are included.

Further Afield is a series of sculptures sited around the Upper Lake for visitors to encounter and respond to. Each work is made from wooden railway sleepers, with words engraved on the surface. Peter Randall-Page: Mind Walk
Mind Walk is the latest in an ongoing series of works exploring the idea of one continuous line circumnavigating a three-dimensional form in such a way that the line traverses the entire surface of the stone. The stone in this case is a granite boulder from Bavaria shaped by ‘onion skin weathering’ as a result of thermal and chemical erosion. - Art Outdoors
