About Drawing with Trees
Join us for an explorative drawing workshop, exploring concepts inspired by the immersive Of the Oak installation in the Chapel, such as community and collectivism. This adult workshop invites you to explore trees and our connection with nature through mark making.
Guided by artist Jo Blaker, you’ll visit the Chapel to experience Of the Oakbefore taking a a gentle walk through the landscape, stopping to notice and draw some of the incredible tree specimens found at YSP. The day will end with a hot drink and an indoor studio drawing session in the Bothy Gallery. Using process-led techniques, you’ll unlock creativity through movement, texture, and experimentation.
No experience necessary. All materials will be provided.
A soup and sandwich lunch will be provided. Please contact learning@ysp.org.uk if you have any dietary requirements.
Event tickets allow access to the Park for the rest of the day.
