About Discover in a Day

Start your Arts Award adventure at YSP.

During this fun drop-in outdoor event aimed at young people from the age of six, you'll create playful art in response to the art and nature at YSP and share your discoveries. Based on Hillside near Learning, three artist-led stations will offer playful activities including sculpture building and mark making. 

With the support of YSP Arts Award advisors, young people can complete Discover level Arts Award on the day and receive a certificate of achievement. Arts Award Discover is an introductory programme for children and young people aged up to 25, designed to build creativity, curiosity, confidence and communication skills. Certificates from Trinity College will be presented at a future YSP event or posted to home addresses.

This event is suitable for all ages and anyone up to the age of 25 can achieve their Arts Award Discover. All children to be supervised by an adult.
