Join artist Tony Wade for a gentle walk through YSP’s landscape, exploring its remarkable ancient and veteran trees. 

Beginning at the Visitor Centre, Tony will share stories and insights from his research and guide you in using creative observation to understand what truly defines an ancient or veteran tree. Tony has a longstanding relationship with YSP and its grounds, and this is an exceptional opportunity to learn from his expertise and experience the Park’s oldest trees at this special time of year. We will also measure a tree at YSP to see if it qualifies as an ancient tree to be added to the Woodland Trust's Ancient Tree Inventory. 

After the session we will gather together in the Kitchen Café for a warming hot drink.
