Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings. It is awarded by Arts Council England in recognition of commitment to high quality arts and cultural education.

YSP offers the following opportunities for schools and colleges who are working towards, or currently hold an Artsmark Award:

Artsmark Consultation

YSP’s Formal Learning Programmer is available for an initial phone consultation to discuss how our offer for teachers and schools can align with both your school development plan and Artsmark statement of commitment. We will highlight how our collection and exhibitions can support your curriculum design and enrich your Artsmark journey. Please email learning@ysp.org.uk to enquire about this.

Facilitated Activities

We offer a wide programme of events and artist-led workshops that give children and young people inspiration and insight into the arts through specialist art skills and exclusive access to curators and resident artists. We specialise in opportunities for children and young people to respond creatively and share ideas confidently.
