About Teacher Study Day 2026
Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the National Arts Education Archive (NAEA) invite education professionals to an inspiring study day focused on YSP’s upcoming exhibition - Hold to this Earth: Works by Contemporary Indigenous North American Artists from Tia Collection - which opens on 13 June 2026.
Teacher Study Day offers teachers and educators a unique opportunity to explore inclusive pedagogy and develop mindful teaching practices for SEND learners. Participants will learn more about integrated activities at the National Arts Education Archive, gain practical insights and strategies for inclusive arts education, take part in slow looking exercises, and be guided by YSP’s artist educators to explore storytelling and community-inspired art. The day includes inspiring keynotes from artist Jason Wilshire-Mills and artist and Arts Creativity and Educational Consultant Susan Coles.
Refreshments and registration from 09.30, session runs 10.00–16.00.
