About Printing Trees: Family Gelli Printing Workshop

Join us for an artist-led, gelli printing workshop inspired by the immersive Of the Oak installation in the Chapel.

In this family workshop you will discover the wonder of trees and learn the skills needed to make your own printed artworks.

Led by artist Rachel Craddock, you’ll visit the Of the Oakinstallation, followed by a short walk through the Park, stopping to notice trees along the way. Each session will end with a creative printmaking session at YSP Learning, where you'll create printed artworks to take home inspired by the trees at YSP.

Aprons and all materials will be provided for the printmaking activity. No experience is necessary.

The Of the Oak Installation in the Chapel is in a darkened space and features an immersive audio soundtrack, ear defenders are available to borrow in the gallery if needed.

The Chapel and the walk are wheelchair friendly. All-terrain mobility scooters are available to hire, please contact info@ysp.org.uk if you wish to reserve one for the day.

The Hayloft at YSP Learning is accessible by stairs and elevator, please note that due to safety requirements we can only accommodate one wheelchair user in the Hayloft at a time. If you require any further information or assistance, please contact us at learning@ysp.org.uk.

There are no toilet facilities available in the Chapel. There are toilet facilities, including a Changing Places Toilet available at YSP Learning.

Information

Please wear sensible clothing and footwear for the outdoors, it may be cold, wet or muddy.

Please note that the Café at YSP Learning is dog friendly, however only assistance dogs are permitted in the printmaking sessions.
