About Brass Mobile Making Workshop with Louise Lockhart
To celebrate her largest exhibition to date, Cake Crumbs and Lemonade, join artist Louise Lockhart to create your very own brass mobile.
In this half day workshop, you will create a golden hanging mobile, using cut out brass sheet shapes and wire, based on folk-inspired imagery. With the theme of A Walk Through the Park, we invite you to celebrate the small rituals of everyday life and take your own work of art home with you.
From seaside strolls and fairground rides to lemonade labels and nights at the circus, Louise Lockhart captures the charm of British leisure and daily life in all her work, and you will come away feeling inspired and full of creativity.
Please park in the main Visitor Centre carpark and walk down to the Learning Centre to the Hayloft Studio.

Peter Randall-Page: Mind Walk
Mind Walk is the latest in an ongoing series of works exploring the idea of one continuous line circumnavigating a three-dimensional form in such a way that the line traverses the entire surface of the stone. The stone in this case is a granite boulder from Bavaria shaped by ‘onion skin weathering’ as a result of thermal and chemical erosion. - News
