Ella Doran is a multi-talented designer, who uses her own photography, mark-making and textile design skills to create a wide range of outcomes, from products and fabrics to large-scale environmental graphics.
Doran’s work includes commissions for The Royal Society of Arts, Kew Royal Botanic Gardens, Tate, The John Radcliffe Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, Paloma Picasso and Portmeirion. Doran’s visually-arresting and award-winning designs are the result of creative partnerships and collaboration. She is never happier than when acting as a catalyst, setting off a chain of interlocking innovations. Recurrent passions include working with children, the use of colour and helping to advance the circular economy.
