Food and Drink
Simon Armitage Poet Laureate Sherry, £25
As part of his appointment as the UK’s twenty-first Poet Laureate, YSP Trustee, Simon Armitage travelled to Spain to meet sherry makers in the bodegas of Jerez.
In keeping with the long literary tradition of gifting the Poet Laureate a ‘butt of sack’ (barrel of sherry), a custom dating back to the 17th century, Armitage followed in the footsteps of poets such as John Dryden, Ted Hughes and Carol Ann Duffy.
Choose from three varieties of sherry — cream, amontillado and fino — each complete with the poem The Phoenix on the label.
The perfect gift for any foodie, featuring a wide selection of artisan treats produced in Yorkshire with beautiful illustrations by Janine Burrows. Presented in a wicker basket, the hamper includes House Blend Coffee, Blood Orange Marmalade, Plum Jam, Fig Jam, Raspberry and Rhubarb Jam, Caramel and Sea Salt Fudge, Clotted Cream Toffee, and a selection of chocolate.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park Gin, 20cl £18 and 70cl £40
Distilled in small batches by Castle Hill Gin using hand-picked botanicals from the historic Bretton Estate, this gin offers a unique blend of flavours that reflect the natural flavours of YSP. The label is designed by local illustrator Janine Burrows and features the much-loved Bothy at YSP.
Art
Russell Wilson: The Cedar Tree and Pond Print, £95
This limited edition giclée print was created exclusively to coincide with Russell Wilson’s exhibition A Spring Table, on view at YSP until Sunday 29 June. An edition of 50, this print is based on a painting from the exhibition which captures the beautiful vista across YSP’s Formal Garden.
Signed by the artist and presented in a folio, it’s a wonderful gift for art and nature lovers alike.
Laura Ellen Bacon: Holding, £175
This is the first-ever print by Derbyshire-based artist Laura Ellen Bacon, who is currently exhibiting her monumental sculpture Into Beingin YSP’s 18th-century Chapel, on view until Sunday 7 September. An edition of 30, this lithograph is based on a detailed drawing of Bacon’s site-specific woven willow sculpture.

Yukihiro Akama: Clinging House Postcard Model Kit, £29.95
This YSP exclusive postcard model kit has been created by a family-run business in Kent, from the original Yukihiro Akama hand-carved wooden sculpture Clinging House.
The kit comes flat-packed with a 3D-printed boulder and can be assembled to create your very own version of one of Akama’s famous houses. Please note that paint is not included.

Made to stand the test of time, this leather glasses case is handmade in Sheffield by Hyde Wares. Constructed from a single piece of oak-tanned leather, it’s carefully designed to fold and maintain a strong shape to securely hold your glasses, finished with a Sam Browne brass stud closure.
Available in a choice of three colourways, all products are made with oak-tanned leather from J & FJ Bakers in Devon — the UK’s last remaining oak-bark tannery.
