About Joan Miró
In collaboration with the artist’s foundation and family, YSP is proud to present a small selection of extremely rare limited edition prints by Joan Miró, giving a unique opportunity to own a work by the artist.
Recognised as one of the most important artists of the 20th century, Joan Miró’s work is held in private and public collections all over the world including the Guggenheim, New York; Tate, London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
In addition, the artist’s estate licensed YSP to produce a six-colour limited edition lithographic print from an original work, which was printed by Curwen Studio.
The Miró: Sculptor lithograph is part of an exclusive range of affordable multiples and prints from exhibiting artists, commissioned by YSP. This eclectic group of limited editions represents the breadth of the artistic programme and is a unique way to own work by internationally renowned artists including Chiharu Shiota, Bill Viola, David Nash, Peter Randall-Page and Angie Lewin. Many of the artists we work with generously support YSP through the donation of an edition to accompany their exhibitions at the Park.
