Saad Qureshi (b 1986) lives and works in London and Oxford. He graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2012. Qureshi’s practice draws on the ineffability of lived experience: the processes by which we interpret objects and landscapes, and how memory itself processes them over time. His sculptures give form to the ideas or stories by which we give meaning to human existence.
Recent solo shows include Aicon Gallery, New York and Gazelli Art House, London. Group exhibitions include Bo.Lee Gallery; the Saatchi Gallery; and Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, all in London. Public commissions include those for Oxford Brookes University, Oxford and Victoria, London. His work can be found in public collections such as the Leeds City Art Gallery; Dipti Mathur Collection, California; The Farjam Foundation Collection, Dubai; the Creative Cities Collection, Beijing; the Al Markhiya Gallery, Qatar; the Bagri Foundation, London; the Boston Consulting Group. He features in 100 Sculptors of Tomorrow (Thames & Hudson, 2019), and is represented by Gazelli Art House, London.
