Rainbow Adventure: Sculpture and nature hunt
As you explore sculpture and nature, gather as many colours as you can. Write down or draw a colour at each stop and at the end, decide on your favourite colour of the day.
Remember to tell us all about your colourful sculpture and nature adventures and share your day out tagging @yspsculpture.
Distance: approximately 1.75km / 1 mile
Terrain: You will walk over gravel paths with inclines and grassy areas that can get muddy at times.
Accessibility: The trail points are located outside within the Formal Garden, Lower Park and Little Wild Wood (just off the Country Park). There are a mixture of gravel and grassy paths. Entering the Little Wild Wood from the Country Park, via Lower Park, is a steep incline. This incline is gentler if you head across the Country Park and discover other sculptures as you make your way uphill. Further information can be found on our accessibility page and within our Accessibility Guide. Mobility Scooters can be hired from the Visitor Centre.
Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome outdoors, excluding some nature conservation areas near the lake which are not included in this trail. Please note: dogs are permitted in the Little Wild Wood but must be kept on leads and stick to the pathways only.
