Kerry Bishop is a respected business leader who has spent two decades in leadership roles at the intersection of art, design and architecture. She is the Founder and Director of Know Your Place, a creative business consultancy. Kerry previously served as Managing Director at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), leading the organisation safely through the COVID-19 crisis. Her time at the ICA followed six years as Chief Operating Officer at Frieze – directing strategic operations for Frieze’s global art fairs, overseeing the organisation’s international expansion, including launching Frieze Los Angeles and Frieze Magazine's shift to digital publishing with frieze.com.

Kerry is currently the Chair of Create London and is an advisor to the Black British Initiative; she previously served five years as a Board Trustee for Peckham Platform. Kerry was born and raised in a coal mining town near the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
