About Light Organ Late x Aron Kyne and Thabo Mkwananzi
Get your festive season started and join us for a magical evening of light and fire at YSP. See the Light Organ come to life, as it is activated by electrifying performances by musicians Aron Kyne and Thabo Mkwananzi, filling the Chapel with luminous colour.
Producer and sound designer Aron Kyne will be joined by musician and vocalist Thabo Mkwananzi. Thabo is a singer who is drawn to making music that educates, entertains and empowers the listener. His style is soulful, playful and creative. Thabo was born in Zimbabwe, where he began to sing in church choirs. He sought asylum in the UK and settled in Huddersfield eighteen years ago, he has been nurturing his career and craft in Yorkshire and beyond ever since.
Aron and Thabo have been long time collaborators and have been performing together for years on various projects and tours. This will be the first time that they have performed with Light Organ since it’s exhibition at Leeds Light Night last year. This December, Aron and Thabo will transform the Chapel with their unique combination of electronic production and harmonious vocals – bringing light and warmth to a dark Winter evening.
Join us at the Visitor Centre, where our Coffee Shop will be open for warm drinks and snacks by the bonfire, before we walk down to the Chapel by torchlight.
