Pay for parking any time during your visit or up to 7 days afterwards online. Car park charges contribute significantly to the running costs of YSP which is an independent museum and registered charity.

There are unofficial car parks operating next to YSP. The payment to these goes to private enterprise and takes money away from our charitable work. Please help us to continue the work that we do by parking in an official YSP car park. Every penny we raise from car parking goes towards our running costs.

Please also respect our neighbours in West Bretton village. Parking in the village causes congestion and obstruction for residents.

There are over 1,150 parking spaces at YSP with car parks at the visitor centre (Blue, Orange, Green and White car parks), at YSP Learning (Red car park), and at The Weston (Yellow car park).

Our car parks use automatic number plate recognition which means you do not need to return to your vehicle to display a ticket. Transfer between car parks is permitted, simply pay for the whole time you are on site. Your payment is registered against your number plate and in the event of non-payment, a parking charge notice will be issued via the DVLA.

Motorcycles are free – please donate.
Coaches – please report to the YSP Centre Information Desk on arrival.
Parking charges apply to all visitors including Blue Badge holders.

If you are a regular visitor, why not join YSP Friends. Benefits include a 10% discount in the Shop and Restaurant, admission to exclusive events and the option to purchase an annual parking permit.
