–Headlining YSP’s 2024 programme is a major exhibition by one of the world’s leading contemporary artists, Bharti Kher. In her most extensive UK museum presentation to date, curated across the Underground Gallery and surrounding gardens, Kher centres the female body through sculpture. - Upcoming
Carol Douglas - Actually I Can
–This summer, YSP will present a body of work by painter Carol Douglas, who is based in York. Douglas paints with acrylics, applying it with rollers rather than the traditional paint brush, building up layer after layer in a palette of warm greys, browns and mustards. - Upcoming

Deborah Rundle
From Autumn 2024Following her residency in 2022, Deborah Rundle will share work created as a result of her research at YSP. The focus of her time in Yorkshire was an investigation into the intriguing history of Ann Ellis, who in 1875 led a group of 9,000 weavers on strike action in Dewsbury. - Upcoming
